TekTone had another outstanding year in sales in 2024. Additionally, we celebrated two employees reaching an impressive milestone of 30 years with the company.
We gained 12 new Distributors and 19 new TEPs, for a total of over 1,000 total TekTone customers. We were awarded the Third Consecutive Year Gold Safety Award for the 2023 calendar year from NCDOL and significantly increased our Community Involvement by participating in the following community events:
- TekTone employees filled out over 120 Thanksgiving cards for residents of Grandview Manor and the Franklin House.
- During Decemeber, TekTone employees were provided Christmas/Holiday cards to fill out for residents of senior living facilities in Franklin. The total number of cards made by employees ended up being over 200! We were able to take enough cards for all residents at Macon Valley Nursing & Rehab, Grandview Manor, and the Franklin house.
- This year for the holidays, TekTone partnered up with Macon Valley Nursing & Rehab in Franklin to do an Angel Tree for their residents. TekTone employees provided around 30 gifts for Macon Valley residents.
- Our food donation bin was continuously emptied each month and donated to CareNet in Macon County. TekTone employees donated 222lbs of food to CareNet in 2024.
- TekTone had the privilege of hosting a Swain High School teacher awarded a fellowship by the Kenan Fellows Program for Teacher Leadership. This opportunity allowed him to immerse himself in our culture, shadow employees, and develop new curriculum for his students.
During 2024 we also had several internal accomplishments:
- We developed a brand new postion of Vice President of Business Development to oversee our Sales, Technical Support, Customer Success, Marketing, and Training Departments. We hired our long-term TekTone representive, Tim DeBarr, to fill the role and help us grow in those departments.
- TekTone completely revamped its Customer Relationship Management and Data Entry systems by transitioning to Acumatica, a comprehensive new platform. This upgrade consolidates all our previous systems into a single, unified solution, enhancing efficiency and providing valuable insights to better forecast our future needs and demands.
- After seven years in our new building at the Industrial Park, we were finally able to design new driveway signage, enhancing visibility for our community and the customers who visit for training.
- Provided training to our production employees to learn better techniques when using lead-free solder and made the switch to using lead-free solder in almost all of our systems.
Thank you for being a part of this special year. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to what 2025 holds!
