The NC402TS touchscreen master station is used with the NC450 and NC450MICRO Central Equipment and the PM4XX-series control modules. Master stations currently installed will continue to be supported throughout their warranty period and beyond as long as parts are available.
The NC402TS masters can be seamlessly replaced on the Tek-CARE400 P5 system utilizing the NC455CE and either the NC404TS or NC415AV Gen2 master stations. To replace an existing NC402TS with a Gen2 master station, simply add the following components:
• NC455CE
• Gen2 master station (NC404TS or NC415AV)
• NC475 Tek-CARE Appliance Server
The NC455CE modules can be networked to run with existing systems, circumventing the hassle of having to replace the entire nurse call system to replace a single part.
The NC305LCD Master Station and the NC351A(/2) Central Equipment are also discontinued. Current installations will continue to be supported. The NC305LCD can also be upgraded to the NC404TS or NC415AV master stations, provided that the existing central equipment is also upgraded to the NC356CE CE Module. The NC356CE serves as a drop-in replacement* for the NC351A(/2) central equipment and continues to utilize the IR3XX-series patient stations, so a complete system replacement is not required.
The NC404TS touchscreen master station provides a 22” user interface, as well as a handset for discreet communication between master and patient station. It is supported by the NC475 Tek-CARE Appliance Server, which is capable of providing software modules for reporting, email alerts and the Tek-CARE Staff App. The NC415AV is a compact master station that provides all of the functionality of a master twice its size. It is available both with and without a handset. Both masters are desk or wall-mountable.
